Finally, a 5-year journal I'm excited about. There are 6 lines for writing each day's entry in this journal, and, for me, that makes all the difference. I've tried 3 other 5-year journals, and each time, I abandon it within a couple weeks, because there is so little room to write, that my entries are crammed and sloppy. I understand that the purpose of a 5-year journal is to record short snippets each day, but 3 lines just isn't enough space. Even 5-lined journals weren't enough for me. This one is perfect space-wise. Add to that, the pages are thick, so ink doesn't bleed through. Plus, it's pretty and well-made. Oh, and in the front of the book, there are 2 pages for recording birthdays, anniversaries, and other important dates.

I have just started using a 5-year journal and went through a few others before finally landing on this gem! The book is sturdy, pages are thick but not too thick, ink does not run through when using felt tip pens, and there is just enough room to record the important things for the day. I can't wait until a year comes around so I can see how much things have changed. I would highly recommend this journal!
This was one of my "mini-habit" goals-to write a dash every day-and I'm finding it a useful tool-not overwhelming-and perfectly ok to catch up on the next day if needed...something I couldn't seem to get going on a blank open ended journal or diary...This had just enough structure. My only complaint is that the date is very light and hard to read-while the month, year etc is just fine...AND-there is the leap year date-which would be helpful for us space cadets if it had some sort of "warning"...as I got way off by a week afterwards before I realized what was going on! :) (I'm not a detail person ok? ) :)
This journal is really pretty and I have enjoyed writing in it this week. It's thicker than I imagined (about an inch or so) but that does not pose a problem for my needs. I will use a sticky tab as a bookmark and work on this for the next 5 years. I recommend this journal.
I had to find a cover design I would enjoy for 5 years - this one is very cute. Hopefully, it will hold up after 5 years of daily use - seems like it will. The amount of room for writing for each day is generous - just right. Happy to have purchased!
