420 full-color pages filled to the brim with album and single artwork, concert and promotional photos (official and unreleased alternate takes), rare merchandise, promo items, etc, etc, etc., coupled with a comprehensive history of the band from the very beginning up to the present year (2017). Informative and detailed, with touches of humor, but never boring or long-winded; it sticks to the facts. This book is the product of a German fan's amazing collection, with an emphasis on German memorabilia (but this edition is in English). Each album gets about 20-30 pages, which includes solo projects, tours, and special interviews. I started reading at the beginning and then suddenly I was 70 pages in, it's really enjoyable. I've been a DM fan since the late 80's and I'm discovering all sorts of new things in this massive tome. This is a must have every Depeche Mode Devotee! This book contains everything about the band's history in music and promotions. There are tons of photographs and art work. Detailed information about every single the band has put out. It includes every solo project or side project as well. (Recoil, Martin L Gore, Dave Gahan, Soulsavers, VCMG) This book has even been updated to include Spirit and the Global Spirit Tour. There is nothing out there more complete than this. This is every DM fan's dream. Having this book makes me feel even more proud to be a DM Devotee since '83. It shows how unique and special DM are and have always been. I love this. I am so happy that I bought it. If you love this band then get this book.
You know you're a fan when you're reading a book about Depeche Mode, and you get excited to see them mentioned in it. "Hey, Depeche Mode! Oh, wait..." This is a huge, comprehensive book detailing everything from the list of all of the band's tour dates ever to every cover ever created for every single ever created. There are plenty of photos of the guys to drool over, and there is a smattering of the band's history sprinkled throughout. Of course, a book this size you would think is mostly about the photos, and it certainly does not disappoint. Though, I could see how once you've gotten through it once, it would become more of a collectible than something you would want to revisit a lot. Still, this is a great book for any hardcore Depeche Mode fan.

I bought this as a gift for my wife who is a big fan. She loved it, especially the comprehensive list of all their concerts. She loved pointing out the events she had attended.

This is an increadible book. Not only for fans of Depeche Mode (but for us, this is a must have) but also for anyone into stunning design. This is a complete history of the bands visual output and shows how it’s all interconnected.I also recommend “Catalogue†by the Pet Shop Boys. Also increadible.
An Absolutely Astounding Collection that appeals to a casual fan all the way up to a die hard true believer. The price of the book pays for itself 10 times over after the first 30 pages! Don't procrastinate....just get it!
